The BM1106 Huntsman Chair was designed in 1950 by Børge Mogensen. It unites two distinct creative expressions: simplicity and complexity, resulting in a chaste design with unique details.

Description

Carl Hansen & Søn reintroduced the Huntsman Chair in 2019 and it perfectly encapsulates the timeless qualities of the designer.

The luxurious saddle leather is held by buckles and brackets in steel or brass contrasting with a solid wood frame. It is a flexible and comfortable chair, it serves as both a dining chair and a lounge chair.

The BM1106 is part of Mogensen’s ‘hunting cabin theme’, the chair is accompanied by the matching Hunting Table.

The Huntsman Chair is available in walnut or oak.

Børge Mogensen
He became a highly-influential designer and a leading representative of Danish Modern. Mogensen’s democratic design included simple and functional wooden furniture, with calm aesthetics and strong construction. He believed in visual clarity and minimal decoration.
