Carlo Urbinati and Alessandro Vecchiato
Are Italian designers who helped transform Foscarini into a leading lighting brand. Urbinati, born in Genoa in 1955, moved to Venice in 1981 to join Foscarini, leaving architecture behind. Vecchiato joined shortly after and in 1988 they became co-owners. They believe that light should evoke emotions, designing lamps with a strong visual impact, capable of shaping the atmosphere of a space.
