Description

The 16 Tree lamps are a tree-shaped installations that utilizes pendants and a modular armature system made of stainless steel. The glass pieces in the lamp are connected to branches and stems made of bead blasted steel. Each armature segment carries low-voltage electricity and splits into branches, offering endless possibilities for design. The installation process is made simple with the armature's branches that can be easily clicked together. The 16 Tree Trunks aim to provide both functional lighting and an attractive design.

Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position, between the fields of architecture, sculpture and design. Founded in 2005 its focal themes include the exploration of light as a medium.

Omer Arbel is an artist and designer based in Vancouver. He focuses on materials research, lighting design, building design and site specific installations. He is one of two co-founders of Bocci, a Canadian design and manufacturing company.
