Description

The 28 Random configurations are suspended using coaxial cable and arranged in ambient groupings. The cable provides a stable and secure support system while allowing for flexibility. The spheres are carefully composed to create an overall ambiance that enhances the beauty and uniqueness of each piece. Lamps from 28.11 have non-adjustable lengths hardware. It allows the installer to attach the canopy to the ceiling before “plugging in” the individual pendants one by one. Longest and shortest lengths are determined by client in advance.

The 28 collection consists of many different arrangements as Armature, Random, Cluster, Copper, Semi-Rigid, Stem and Table Light. each one of them is built using the same unique blown glass spheres that can be chosen from a great variety of colors.

Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position, between the fields of architecture, sculpture and design. Founded in 2005 its focal themes include the exploration of light as a medium.
