Description

The Wing Chair was designed in 1960 when only a few examples were produced. Carl Hansen & Søn relaunched the chair in 2006.

Hans J. Wegner’s expertise is clearly expressed in this chair featuring distinctive lines and pleasant seating comfort. The seat and backrest are constructed to provide comfortable support in different sitting positions. The precise shape and density of the upholstery give the best support possible.  

The CH445 Wing Chair is available with the matching CH446 foot stool, for added comfort.

Often referred to as the master of the chair, he has created almost 500 chairs in his lifetime, many of them considered masterpieces. He is considered one of the most creative among Danish furniture designers.
