Description

57 Table Light series uses the same pendants from the 57 collection as table light, with the proper hardware, which includes an integral dimming system housed within a sleek brass cylinder. The semi-rigid black fabric cord can be molded to create shapes. The brass stand also features a small notch on its underside, enabling it to be hung on a wall if desired.

The 57 collection is produced using a manufacturing method that involves creating various sizes and shapes of air pockets within a larger mass of opaline glass in either white or dark grey. These pockets of air remain invisible when the piece is turned off, but come alive to reveal the interior voids when the piece is illuminated. It consists in different variants such as: Random, Semi Rigid, Stem and Table lights. 

Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position, between the fields of architecture, sculpture and design. Founded in 2005 its focal themes include the exploration of light as a medium.
