Tied-Up Romance pendant lamp by Bomma is characterized by an aesthetic that closely recalls the contradictory practice of bondage. The mouth-blown crystal elements are in fact squeezed between strings and bands of leather and horsehair.

The ligatures are available in three different designs (A, B and C) and in two different colors: brown or black.

Type C only in black leather.

Description

The Tied-Up Romance collection is based on the provocative bondage aesthetic. Leather and horsehair, meticulously worked, create intertwining that tighten and highlight the fragile solidity of the glass. The result is a reference to a contradictory but fascinating universe.

Bomma is a company originally from a historic region of Bohemia renowned for its traditional glass manufacturing. Its handcrafted glass production blends history and scientific innovation. Their glassworks are in fact among the most advanced structures globally. Original collections for shapes, colors and materials are born, detached from conventional canons to create new ones.

Graduate of the Atelier of glass at AAAD Prague (Academy of Arts Prague), Kateřina Handlová loves glass for its unique character and combines it with different materials such as leather, ropes or porcelain to create objects with original artistic approach.
