Description

The 87 Cluster lamps are suspended using coaxial cable and arranged into ambient clusters. 87.1 to 87.7 are available in brushed nickel and white powder coated adjustable lengths canopy. Each pendant comes standard with 3m of coax cable.

In the 87 creation process soda water is utilized to capture air in a glass matrix that is superheated and stretched vertically between pegs numerous times. During the cooling of the glass, the act of folding it in the direction of the loop's grain causes the trapped air to transform into tiny filaments, resulting in a pearlescent optical effect. The collection includes: Random, Swag and Surface Lights.

Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position, between the fields of architecture, sculpture and design. Founded in 2005 its focal themes include the exploration of light as a medium.
