Description

Ole Wanscher presented the OW124 Beak Chair in 1951. An elegant mark of his refined design and bold pushing of boundaries, the Beak Chair’s distinctive look is thanks in part to the beak-like armrests that inspired its name. This unique design feature demands carefully selected materials and skilled craftsmanship, as do the upholstered seat and back.

The Beak Chair is available in walnut or oak.

Ole Wanscher
He was integral to the aesthetic and functionality of modern Danish design. Having studied under Kaare Klint, he helped shape Danish furniture as a designer and as an educator when he took over Klint’s professorship.
