Description

The 57 Stem Collection consists of hand blown glass pendants mounted on stems, available in black powder coated or brass finish, on a threaded canopy for an easy installation. Stems can be fixed on the Ceiling.

The 57 collection is produced using a manufacturing method that involves creating various sizes and shapes of air pockets within a larger mass of opaline glass in either white or dark grey. These pockets of air remain invisible when the piece is turned off, but come alive to reveal the interior voids when the piece is illuminated. It consists in different variants such as: Random, Semi Rigid, Stem and Table lights.  

Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position, between the fields of architecture, sculpture and design. Founded in 2005 its focal themes include the exploration of light as a medium.
