Description

The 84 Stem Floor Collection consists of hand blown glass pendants mounted on stems, available in black powder coated or brass finish,  mounted on a 350mm diameter base. The black fabric cord includes a 360 degree dimming system housed in a brass cylinder. 

The 84 creation process involves capturing a white glass moil in a copper mesh basket, which is then immersed in hot, clear glass. Air pressure is applied to push the white glass through the mesh, resulting in a delicate, pillowed shape. Occasionally, the copper mesh basket will fold and crinkle, giving each piece a unique touch. The collection includes: Random, Stem, Surface Lights and Table Lights.

Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position, between the fields of architecture, sculpture and design. Founded in 2005 its focal themes include the exploration of light as a medium.
