The Orvieto door handle by Olivari was born from the desire to re-propose classic shapes. A return to the past that has made it possible to rediscover balance and ergonomics to be transferred to the present.

The Orvieto handle can be fitted with a round or vertical rosette, or oval plate.

Made entirely of brass, it is available in various galvanic and PVD finishes.

Also available for windows with DK or Cremonese system.

Description

The Orvieto collection includes door and window handles. Novelletto together with Roberto Volonterio carries out a study concerning the ergonomics of the classic. The shapes chosen in the past already concealed concepts of ergonomics that tend to get lost in modern inspirations.

Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. Olivari is synonymous with innovation thanks, for example, to the introduction on the market of anodized aluminum handles and the first plastic handles. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.

Nicola Novelletto graduated from the Higher Institute of Artistic Industries in Rome. He had several collaborations with designers and manufacturing companies, as well as teaching activities as a professor of representation techniques. His work includes home accessories, faucets, handles, sports equipment and more.
