Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.

Studio Olivari is the company's internal design studio created by Battista Olivari. It is a research activity center aimed at the development of new materials and innovative solutions. Studio Olivari boasts more than sixty years of experience in the design of handles.
