Description

The Fossil finish is chosen for its peculiarities and divided into elements. Just as man modifies the territory, leaving the signs of time, so the Ragusa stone is overwritten, enriched and valued, a primordial and eternal canvas.

Born in the heart of the Sicilian territory, Pietra Pece uses eco-sustainable extraction and manufacturing processes to create high quality products in Pietra Pece a calcarenite typical of the Ragusa area. Pietra Pece is a brand of Nerosicilia Group, a leading Italian company in the processing of lava stone, Pietra Pece (Ragusa stone) and recycled glass.

Mario Barbini is an Italian designer originally from Ragusa. Always linked to his territory, after graduating in Painting he qualified to teach History of Art and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania. In 2010, together with the designer Giovanni Salerno, he founded Jpeglab.
