Description

Model 548 table lamp features a white painted aluminum spotlight mounted on a polished or burnished brass tubular stem. With a small brass bar serving as a counterweight, this reissued version includes an LED source and discreetly integrated optical dimmer switch while maintaining the beauty of the original design.

Astep, founded in 2014 by Alessandro Sarfatti, aims to create and curate timeless inventions that embody innovative ideas for the future. The name "Astep" signifies the journey of evolution towards the creation of better, substantial, and useful objects that continue to influence and improve our lives.

Gino Sarfatti
(1912-1985) is a prominent figure in Italian industrial design, renowned for his influential work with Arteluce. With over 700 luminaires to his name, Sarfatti combined innovative ideas and groundbreaking design, exploring new typologies, materials, technologies, and production techniques. His legacy lives on through his refined and functional creations.
