Description

Kasthall presents an extraordinary array of woven rugs that have a unique texture and feel. Perfect for adding character to a setting or a room. Made from the finest, high-quality materials and produced at the Kasthall factory in Kinna, Sweden. Woven rugs are available patterned, geometric or solid with a great selection of colors, materials and patterns.

Kasthall has been creating distinctive and modern woven and hand-tufted rugs for global floors since 1889. Their Design Studio engages in ongoing collaborations with top textile designers worldwide to craft high quality rugs, all manufactured in Kinna, Sweden, only with the finest materials. Operating across 30 countries, Kasthall showcases its products in showrooms located in Stockholm, Milan and New York.

Maja Johansson Starander
After having studied at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art in London, Maja Johansson Starander reached out to Kasthall's then lead designer, Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg. Forging an immediate connection and shared the same design vision, Maja she decided to migrate from London to the quaint town of Kinna and began on her role as an in-house designer at Kasthall in 2013.
