The Penguin, a Danish Modern icon by Ib Kofod-Larsen in 1953, is light, elegant, and sculptural. Its unique design combines a slightly oversize seat and back with a slender frame, offering both sophistication and comfort. The Penguin collection consist in a dining chair, lounge chair and a rocking chair.

Established in 2023, Audo Copenhagen, born from MENU and by Lassen partnership, blends Danish design heritage with a global outlook. It embraces minimalism, featuring clean-lined furniture, earth tones and natural materials.

The architect Ib Kofod-Larsen (1921-2003) was a key figure in the thriving Danish design scene of the 1950s and 1960s. Despite his extensive catalog of furniture designed for international markets, he remained relatively unknown in Denmark. Part of the Danish modern movement, Kofod-Larsen operated in the shadow of well-known designers. Today he is recognized as one of Denmark's most underrated yet exciting talents, creating sophisticated, well-proportioned furniture with beautiful silhouettes and organic lines.
