Proust Geometric is a contemporary evolution of Alessandro Mendini's iconic Proust armchair from 1978. Originally designed for the "Close Encounters of Architecture" exhibition, it gained global acclaim for its postmodern essence. Proust Geometric revives this legacy, presenting a vibrant, technicolor reinterpretation.

Cappellini, founded in 1946 by Enrico Cappellini, is a renowned furniture brand known for embracing cutting-edge designs, fostering experimentation and redefining living concepts. Led by Giulio Cappellini's talent scouting, the company has recruited designers worldwide, showcasing an extraordinary intuition refined through years of experience.

Alessandro Mendini
graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic, he has been director of well-known architecture magazines since the 1970s, such as "Casabella", "Modo" and "Domus". His career as an unconventional designer has led him to collaborate with big names such as Zanotta, Alessi, Swatch and Cartier.
