Born in 1944 to artist parents, Swedish designer Kenneth Bergenblad began his design journey in his teens. Completing his cabinetmaking apprenticeship in 1965, he later studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. From 1970 to 1993, he gained international fame at DUX, notably for the Spider chaise longue. Renowned for elegant, modern designs that harmonize functionality and experimentation, Bergenblad continues to create pieces that consistently surprise.
