Description

38 Table Light series uses the same pendants from the 38 collection as table light, with the proper hardware, which includes an integral dimming system housed within a sleek brass cylinder. The semi-rigid black fabric cord can be molded to create shapes. The brass stand also features a small notch on its underside, enabling it to be hung on a wall if desired. A great variety of colors is available upon request.

The fabrication technique of 38 collection, originally developed for 28, pushes its technical and material limits. A large glass sphere is blown with a multitude of interior cavities, which intersect and collide with each other in unpredictable ways, those can be filled with plants or left empty. It consists in different variants such as: Copper, Random, Semi Rigid, Armature, Stem and table lights. 

Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position, between the fields of architecture, sculpture and design. Founded in 2005 its focal themes include the exploration of light as a medium.
