73s Brass Surface Light by Bocci is a single surface lamp meant to be displayed in groups or by itself. The fabrication process is obtained by blowing liquid glass into a folded vessel made of highly heat-resistant ceramic fabric.

Brass Plate: 75mm diameter plate designed to be mounted directly onto standard junction boxes on walls.

Pendant available in: Clear, Grey 1, Grey 2 or Grey 3.

Description

The 73 Surface Light collection is designed to be composed and arranged in creative groupings. The mounting plates are designed to be installed on walls or ceilings. The lamps are carefully composed to create an overall ambiance that enhances the beauty and uniqueness of each piece.

The 73 collection is produced using a process that involves blowing liquid glass into a folded vessel made of ceramic fabric with high heat resistance. The shape that emerges has a formal and textural expression that resembles fabric. This form becomes fixed and rigid as it cools. It consists in different variants such as: Random, Semi Rigid, Stem, Table lights, Armature and Tree.

Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position, between the fields of architecture, sculpture and design. Founded in 2005 its focal themes include the exploration of light as a medium.
