Description

73 Table Light series uses the same pendants from the 73 collection as table light, with the proper hardware, which includes an integral dimming system housed within a sleek brass cylinder. The semi-rigid black fabric cord can be molded to create shapes. The brass stand also features a small notch on its underside, enabling it to be hung on a wall if desired.

The 73 collection is produced using a process that involves blowing liquid glass into a folded vessel made of ceramic fabric with high heat resistance. The shape that emerges has a formal and textural expression that resembles fabric. This form becomes fixed and rigid as it cools. It consists in different variants such as: Random, Semi Rigid, Stem, Table lights, Armature and Tree.

Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position, between the fields of architecture, sculpture and design. Founded in 2005 its focal themes include the exploration of light as a medium.
