Description

The Polo collection includes door and window handles, pull up handle and key. The apparently simple design embodies all the basic concepts of design theory taught at the Ulm school. It is in fact a product with a strong visual impact, which manages to identify the character of the company while preserving ergonomics. The perfect marriage of appearance and function.

Battista Olivari founded the company in 1911 in Borgomanero, Italy. Olivari is synonymous with innovation thanks, for example, to the introduction on the market of anodized aluminum handles and the first plastic handles. In the 2000s, sustainable and high-performance finishes such as Biochrome and Superfinish were born.

Rodolfo Bonetto was born as a professional jazz drummer. His passion for design, ignited by his uncle Felice Bonetto, a racing driver, led him to collaborate with important car names such as Pininfarina and Fiat. His innovative character earned him a professorship at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm directly from Thomas Maldonado.
