Description

The 84 Surface Light collection is designed to be composed and arranged in creative groupings. The mounting plates are designed to be installed on walls or ceilings. The lamps are carefully composed to create an overall ambiance that enhances the beauty and uniqueness of each piece.

The 84 creation process involves capturing a white glass moil in a copper mesh basket, which is then immersed in hot, clear glass. Air pressure is applied to push the white glass through the mesh, resulting in a delicate, pillowed shape. Occasionally, the copper mesh basket will fold and crinkle, giving each piece a unique touch. The collection includes: Random, Stem, Surface Lights and Table Lights.

Bocci is a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver and Berlin. Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position, between the fields of architecture, sculpture and design. Founded in 2005 its focal themes include the exploration of light as a medium.
